How To Care Your Childs Teeth From Cavities

Cavities are most common disease in children. Cavities are holes that are formed in the teeth and can cause pain until they are filled by a dentist.

If your child eats a lot of sugary foods like candy, raisins and cookies than he or she might be at risk for cavities. Your child also might be at risk of he or she drinks sweet liquids, such as fruit juice and sweetened drinks.


You can care you child tooth by using fluoride toothpaste. Your children tend to swallow most of the toothpaste and swallowing too much fluoride toothpaste can cause permanent stains on their teeth.

If you want to prevent cavities than brush your teeth twice a day and get a professional teeth cleaning twice a year. Brush you teeth or rinse your mouth with water afterword, if you want to sticky, chewy and sweet to eat with other foods as a part of meal instead of alone.

Consider getting a dental sealant applied to your molar to help prevent cavities.
